BUILD Winnipeg, growing up on indigenous territory, doing something with privilege, talking about colonization in the work place. The problem with making assumptions about people's experience, and the importance of listening and getting to know people. Economic freedom being a good thing, but a non reality. Using conservative language and values to combat racism. Having privilege meaning that other people don't have privilege Talking with other settlers and connecting with language. Apologies requiring action. The responsibility to speak, the importance of sharing stories. Connection between decolonisation and development of local economies.
