A meg-ceremony at Parliament hill, which featured all the military aviation flying low over Ottawa yesterday, was attended by about 75 people. Ian McKay, historian and author of Reasoning Otherwise, claims it's a deliberate attempt to wipe out the legacy of social democracy and it threatens to take Canada back to the 1920s. Particularly insidious is the brainwash of new Canadian immigrants in the 2009 Citizens' Guide. This country has never been so rife with military patriotism.
