Coverage of the July 16^th Solidarity Demonstration with California Prisoner's on Indefinite Hunger Strike. As of July 1^st, Prisoner's in the Pelican Bay Supermaximum prison have been on hunger strike to protest what they describe as inhumane and torturous living conditions. For some, this is a sign of what's to come to Canada as the budget of Correction Services Canada doubles and the government seeks to build its own supermaximum prisons based on a US model.

The July 16th demon in Solidarity with California Prisoners on Indefinite Hunger Strike occured in Dorchester Square. Elise from the News Collective was there speaking to demonstrators.
