Dr Evan Lyon has been an internist and volunteer clinician with Partners In Health (PIH) in Haiti since 1997. He arrived in Haiti 4 days post earthquake and stayed on and off for the next 7 months. He has written an essay for Haiti After the EarthquakePaul Farmer’s written account of the earthquake, the root causes of the devastation it wrought, and the relief and recovery efforts of Haitians and those who came to their assistance.
