Join a country-wide effort to host four days of participatory media making from the Peoples’ Social Forum (PSF) taking place in Ottawa on Algonquin Territory this August 21-24, 2014 // Joignez-vous à un effort pancanadien pour animer des médias participatifs pendant 4 jours en direct du Forum social des peuples (FSP) qui aura lieu à Ottawa, en territoire algonquin, du 21 au 24 août prochain.

ALTERNATIVE MEDIA CENTRE // CENTRE DES MÉDIAS ALTERNATIFS

Drop-in at the Alt Media Centre, room 301 in the Jock Turcot University Centre (UCU), to access workspaces, a meeting room, a pirate radio station (Peoples’ Radio) and audio editing facilities, storage space, and of course wifi and coffee & snacks. Participate in daily meetings and check-ins during the PSF to collectively coordinating production on all platforms in French and English: audio, video, broadsheets, blogging, tweeting, and other social media // Visitez le Centre, dans la salle 301 (3ème étage) du centre universitaire, et utilisez notre salle d'activité, notre salle de réunion, notre station de radio pirate (Radio des peuples) et notre studio de montage audio. Nous avons des espaces de rangement et bien sûr le wi-fi, du café et des collations. Participez aux réunions quotidiennes de coordination en anglais et en français: audio, vidéo, journaux, blogues, tweets et autre médias sociaux.

PEOPLES’ RADIO! // RADIO DES PEUPLES!

Volunteer to engineer or host at Peoples’ Radio. The studio will be located outside on the terrace of UCU (Jock Turcot University Centre) near Morisset Library and the broadcast will live online and over pirate radio, from 9am - 8pm (EST) every day. Sign-up to host your own show on Peoples’ Radio or contribute content using this form: http://goo.gl/LxugG9. And join the French or English teams hosting live coverage with panels, interviews and short pre-prodcued content daily on Peoples’ Radio from 5pm – 6pm (ENG) & 6pm – 7pm (FRN) // Faites du bénévolat à la Radio des peuples! La station est située sur la terrasse du UCU Jock Turcot, près de la bibliothèque Morisset. Nous diffusons tous les jours sur les ondes pirates et sur l’Internet, de 9h à 20h.
