Québec: April 25, 2012 - Québec Education Minister Line Beauchamp lashed out at the radical student group CLASSE for a series of violent rainstorms that touched certain parts of the province today.

"All forms of violence are intolerable," said the Minister, "even meteorological ones."

Although spokespersons for CLASSE said they could not be held responsible for weather conditions, the Minister insisted that the controversial group had violated the truce set in place for negotiations by organizing storms of disruption and resistance in a clandestine manner. "All Québecers should be outraged at the disregard shown by these radical elements for the wellbeing of citizens and the economy," said Ms. Beauchamp.

Despite the ongoing anti-tuition-hike student strike that threatens to cause major economic havoc, the Minister has suspended talks with student leaders “until it is warm and sunny across the province.”

Unfortunately for students however Ms. Beauchamp says “It will be a cold day in hell when my government agrees to back down from the planned tuition increases.”
