TEENS: NHL 13 Play station Tournament: South Branch Library - Saturday, September 22.
This is going to be a 1v1 tournament for the PS3. Winner will win an autographed Wolves jersey. You may even be able to meet some of the players from the Sudbury Wolves! More details coming soon!
 
TWEENS: Pokemon Tournament: Variety of branches - throughout fall and winter.
Gotta catch em’ all! Compete in the GSPL Pokemon Tournament. Open play Wii games provided for those who aren't competing. Winners receive Pokemon swag. Make a Pokemon button while awaiting your turn, or enter our Pokemon drawing contest. Ages 7-14. Tournaments will be held in a variety of branches throughout the fall and winter. Winners will compete in a grand Tournament on the March Break to determine who is Sudbury's ultimate Pokemon master! More details coming soon!
 
Teen Read Week: October 14 - 20
Teen Read Week is a convenient opportunity to highlight what our library has to offer teens and their families, from best sellers to quirky special collections. This will encourage the community's teens to use the library to read books, magazines, audio books, e-books, graphic novels, and participate in organized teen programming. More details coming soon!
 
Frightening Friday at the Farm: Friday, October 26 @ Anderson Farm.
Anderson Farm will be transformed into a Horrifying Haunted Farm to celebrate Halloween. For younger patrons and their families the Greater Sudbury Public Library will have a pumpkin carving and a Halloween story time in the evening at the Farm. The Haunted Farm (for ages 12 and up) will be open at 7:30 until 9:30. Their will also be a scary story circle. More details coming soon!
