Northern Lights Festival offers Christmas ticket special!

Northern Lights Festival Boréal is pleased to offer discount early bird passes for the 2013 festival. The festival will take place July 5th, 6th, and 7th at Bell Park, Sudbury. Planning is already in the works for an exciting, vibrant and diverse festival, guaranteed to be the party of the year! Passes will be on sale for the duration of December, for the discounted price of $50.00 (reg. $75.00).

Passes may be purchased from the NLFB office at 19 Grey St. Suite 3 during regular office hours (10:00a.m. to 6:00 p.m.). Passes will also be available for purchase at Records on Wheels (56 Elm St.). They are also available for purchase on NLFB’s website (via PayPal) at: www.nlfbsudbury.com/tickets . Further information can be obtained by calling the NLFB office at: 705-674-5512.

Project & Events Coordinator, Ashlyne Botelho commented, “It’s a great buy for Christmas. We have organizations and businesses who buy 10 tickets at a time to use as gifts for clients and employees.  Plus, the long time festival supporters have the opportunity to get the weekend pass at a great discount.” As is tradition, NLFB plans to deliver an eclectic selection of arts & music, featuring highly acclaimed names as well an intriguing roster of emerging artists.

NLFB is Canada's longest continuous running music festival and celebrated its 40th anniversary in 2011. NLFB has presented a multitude of acclaimed artists including: Stan Rogers, Broken Social Scene, Buffy Ste. Marie, Colin James, Daniel Lanois, Jeff Healey, a young Eileen ‘Shania’ Twain and many more.  Over the years NLFB has grown from a one day event called the ‘Northern Lights Folk Festival’ into a seasoned presenter of Canadian roots and modern music. The modern NLFB experience can be described as, ‘a roots music festival that loves modern music,’ or ‘a modern music festival that’s in love with its roots.’
