Judge and Police Chief Guests:

Community Safety Meeting             Thursday Feb. 28th

The public is invited to a special community safety meeting to hear an address by The Honourable Justice A.L. Guay of the Ontario Court of Justice who will speak on concerns related to the Youth Criminal Justice Act and how it impacts safety concerns that citizens may have with respect to their neighbourhoods.

Also a new policing model soon to be introduced to the city will, according to Police Chief Frank Elsner, revolutionize the way the police fight crime. The key to the new initiative is for police, the community and social service groups to work together

The meeting which is open to the public from throughout Greater Sudbury will take place starting at 7:00 p.m at Canadian Legion Branch 76 in Minnow Lake on Weller Street accessed by Mooney off Bellevue or Shappert off Bancroft Drive
