Dear illustrators, photographers and artists:

The Media Co-op has just announced — after a fruitful consultation with membership — the next topic for the Dominion’s 2011 special issue: Climate Justice. Now we’re inviting you to join us with your skills and expertise, to help make the Dominion’s special issue on climate justice look better than any special issue we’ve (or anyone else has) ever seen.

We’re looking for people with illustration & design interests to join the editorial collective to help:
- advise on cover, story illustration, comic and infographic illustration
- advise on overall design & correlating visuals with messages
- design infographics
- illustrate stories

We have small stipends for some illustration and advising, depending on the kind of commitment you are able to make to this process.

If you’re interested or have any questions, contact tim@mediacoop.ca, and join in the discussions here:  http://mediacoop.ca/group/2922/discuss/5273

Thanks!
Tim, on behalf of the special issue (CJ) editorial collective

Couldn't you please just use a photograph?

The illustrated pictures as of late have been disturbing in the least.  I'm thinking specifically of the issue which featured Lady Liberty being fed date rape drugs while tied to a chair.
