Wait, what is a Local Representative on the Board of Directors?

These positions are the link between local work and the national board. They work closely with the local in question and ensure that the lines of communication stay open. You'll ideally be an active member of the local co-op in your area, and will bring news and ideas from to the local to the board, and report back to local members about national activities and dicussions. This is one way of making sure we do not lose touch with the grassroots. This is an area that we will be focusing on improving, so we need strong voices at the table representing each local.
