Seattle based rappers and producers THEESatisfaction are gracing Vancouver's presence on November 2 at The Waldorf. They’ve been described as “smart, funky, talented women who inform their audiences while making them dance” (Bitch Magazine), and have collaborated and toured with musicians such as Shabazz Palaces and Handsome Furs. THEESatisfaction "has worked with an array of producers,who together have supplemented their natural galactic inclinations and pushed them beyond the musical stratosphere’’ (Last Nights Mixtape). Their music, which they describe as “lo-fi rebel hip hop” (Sub Pop) builds on hip hop fundamentals while simultaneously drawing on psychedelic and space jazz influences, among others. THEESat’s debut album ‘Awe Naturale’ will be released on Sub Pop Records in 2012 and will surely continue on their path as rap music vanguards.
