Ripped off migrant workers say NO! to wage theft

MIGRANT WORKERS SAY NO TO WAGE THEFT VANCOUVER - Migrant workers, together with the Labour Committee from the Organizing Centre for Social and Economic Justice and supporters, spoke out at a rally March 20. Seventeen migrant workers have been left with unpaid wages owing from their former employer RDM Hudson Enterprises, which was contracted by Bastion Development Corp (on the Coast Project at UBC and Pulse Project at Maple & Broadway). These workers are owed $60,462 in unpaid wages, including for overtime and statutory holidays. They are facing retaliation and intimidation from their former employer.
