June 21, 2012. On National Aboriginal day, numerous First Nation people took to the streets of Vancouver protesting the federal government’s cuts to youth programs.The protest started at the Aboriginal Friendship Center on Hastings St., through to Commercial Drive, ending at Trout Lake where they celebrated family and culture.
