V for Vendetta comes to Quebec

Several thousand protesters joined the Occupy Wall Street movement today in Montreal, Quebec, Canada in the French-named protest, Occupons Montréal. Demonstrators carried signs expressing concern over financial, environmental, employment and social justice issues as well as the problem of corruption in government and business. Strong media attention and effective online organizing ensured a large turnout. A jovial atmosphere prevailed as well as a palpable desire to work together to reflect on and begin solving the significant issues facing humanity.
