In March 2011, the Media Co-op hopes to publish the next special issue of The Dominion.

Special issues are our major yearly publication: they dig deeper into topics of national interest and are often used as a resource guide by grassroots and social justice groups across the country.

Past special issues have examined the tar sands, the Canadian mining industry, the G20 and the 2010 Winter Olympics.

As a participatory and grassroots media network, we want your input on what the next issue should cover!

If you are an individual or part of a group that would like to submit a proposal, please fill out the form below. While it is extensive, it is meant to give us a solid understanding of the topic and how a special issue around it would look. We ask that only individuals or groups who are open to collaborating with the Dominion throughout the publication of the issue submit proposals.

Deadline for proposals is Nov. 1st, 2010, at midnight. After that, proposals that meet all the criteria laid out below will be posted for feedback from members of the Media Co-op. The editorial collective will make a final decision on proposals based on the level of interest from the public and the quality of the proposals posted to the website. The collective plans to make a final decision on which proposal they will use for a special issue during the week of Nov. 15th.
