401 Gets a Makeover

We wish to make you aware of our creative & peaceful action in solidarity with the January 28th international global day of action.

Residents of Kingston are encouraged to educate themselves about the colonial history of the traditional lands of the Anishinaabe and Haudenosaunee peoples which the city of Kingston now occupies.

Decolonization requires both Aboriginal and non-Aboriginal people to learn from one another to build a relationship of peaceful co-existence and friendship in accordance with the Two-Row Wampum or what the Haudenosaunee call the Guswentha.

We should all condemn the actions of the current government of Canada in light of their consequences for future generations, as well as for the health of the land, air, water, flora and fauna on which we are all dependent for life.
