There was a rally against Bill C-51, the Conservative 'anti-terrorism' bill, from 11 am until around 12:30 today in Regina's Victoria Park. It was part of a national event against the bill, which  dramatically expands the powers of police, particularily CSIS, and the wording is broad enough to apply to many non-violent direct action and disruption tactics employed by environmentalists, Occupy supporters, etc. 

Speakers included Jim Elliott from the Regina Council Of Canadians chapter, Larry Neufeld from the Sask Green Party, federal Green Party candidate Frances Simonson, Nial Kuyek and several more.
