UN Anti-Drug Day, June 26, Leaders Celebrate Crime Against Humanity

June 26 will be remembered by history as a day of global shame and mourning. It is the International Day against Drug Abuse and Illicit Trafficking. Established by the United Nations General Assembly in 1987, this day serves as a reminder of the anti-drug agenda forced onto UN member states through threats, intimidation and brute force at the demand of wealthy western powers.

In countries where cannabis was widely accepted, such as India, Malysia and Vietnam, the UN forced countries to bring in the death penalty for it and murder their own people in an act of global cultural genocide.

The United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime (UNODC) selects themes for the International Day and launches campaigns attempting to justify a policy that has done nothing but empower major criminal organizations and has been an excuse used by governments to rob people around the world, seizing and selling property without convictions, and has essentially ushered in a planetary police state.

All in the name of 'our health' while taking only token action against corporations whose activities are actually endangering the entire planet's ability to support life. Somehow it would be an injustice to seize the property of major environmental offenders and execute them for the pollution of our air and water, but it's totally okay when they do it to poor people for growing a plant.

Drug prohibition was used as an excuse to destroy rainforests with Round Up so that only Monsanto products would grow there in the future. Drug prohibition has been the excuse for breaking up families and filling prisons to be used as cheap labour to undermine working class wages and break unions.
The United Nations has much to be ashamed of, and this day will be remembered and commemorated in the future as a day of mourning for all those murdered in the war on drugs.
