by Kristen Smith & R.J. Riley - Humber's The Daily Planet

See video

The Toronto Media Co-op, Upping the Anti and GroundWire teamed up to put on a fundraiser on March 25th to raise money for independent G8/20 coverage. The event was covered by Humber College's The Daily Planet.

We also got help from great bands and artists such as Kay Pettigrew, Bob Wiseman, Anand Rajaram, GarbageFace, and Dj's Nik Redd and B#.

A lot of other great alternative media publications were in the house this evening giving their support including The Northeastern Anarchist, 4strugglemag, the Walrus and CHRY.

Toronto Media Co-op, Upping the Anti and GroundWire also want to thank the organizations who donated to our raffle including Come As You Are, Good For Her, The Walrus, The North Eastern Anarchist, CHRY FM Radio and the Healthy Butcher.
