The Only Voice in Town: Inside the Media Monopoly of New Brunswick's Irving Empire

Erin Steuter shares how Irving monopolizes New Brunswick’s media by only allowing certain aspects of the news to be reported. All except two of our New Brunswick papers are owned by Irving which allows for only a very narrow view point to be presented. Since these monopolized news corporations continually degrade others in attempt to gain economic growth, Erin’s solution is for NB citizens to support the smaller independent news reporters like the Carleton Press in Woodstock who strive to report real updates.
