Fractured Homeland book launch: Algonquins in Ontario

On August 13th, a packed house at Minwaashin Lodge in Ottawa gathered for the launch of Bonita Lawrence's new book, Fractured Homeland: Federal Recognition and Algonquin Identity in Ontario.

Bonita Lawrence, as well as Bob Majaury (Ottawa Alqonquins), Verna McGregor (Kitigan Zibi) and Bob Lovelace (Ardoch), spoke at the event.

The book is published by UBC Press, http://ubcpress.ca - and the event was hosted by IPSMO, Indigenous Peoples Solidarity Movement Ottawa, in conjuction with Minwaashin Lodge and Octopus Books.
