A flash gathering at 12:00 noon blocked the intersection of Central Avenue and 15th Street! The People round danced, drummed, and followed the drummers to the West down 15th, to the North up 2nd Avenue, to the East up 12th Street, to the North again up Central Avenue. At each intersection, the traffic was blocked while the drummers played! Signs were held high, as were the SPIRITS OF THE PEOPLE! All entered City Hall, and the drummers continued to RALLY THE PEOPLE! A speaker addressed the crowd, as did a Chief, and the Mayor! HISTORY was MADE this DAY...THE NEW BEGINNING!
