On July 16, 2015, Jimmy McIntyre, Metis/Cree man and lone protester in at a Site C Dam Information session in Dawson Creek was shot by RCMP and left to bleed to death. The RCMP have stated that he had a knife and was wearing a Guy Fawkes mask.
